Robert Hellmann is a certified Five O'Clock Club Senior Career and Executive Coach and an adjunct Professor at New York University teaching career management courses. In addition to Rob's private practice coaching clients, he runs weekly career management groups for c-level executives on behalf of the Club. Rob has served as Club Vice President and Associate Director of its Guild of Career Coaches. Rob is also certified as a DOOR International corporate trainer.
Rob is a sought-after speaker, and has given hundreds of seminars on career and employee engagement topics to corporations, higher-education institutions, professional associations, and government/non-profit organizations. Rob has contributed three chapters to the Five O'Clock Club book Work Smarts on leadership, performance management, and mentoring.
Rob's background includes over 20 years of experience working for corporate clients and employers, including American Express, JP Morgan Chase, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Audubon Society. At Chase he facilitated division-wide organizational development and change management initiatives, and at American Express he chaired employee engagement and leadership development teams.
Recognized by career professionals for his expertise, Rob has been invited to deliver seminars at organizations such as the National Career Development Association (NCDA- New York Chapter), the International Coaching Federation (ICF- New Jersey Chapter), the Five O'Clock Club Guild of Career Coaches, the Mid-Atlantic Career Counselors Association (MACCA) and the Metropolitan New York College Career Planning Officers Association (MNYCCPOA).
